Stronger Evidence with Replicable Methodology

Observation From The Ground Down

There is an opportunity to directly observe the construction of a tower starting from the point of the site's preexisting structure(s) demolition.

Doing so would confirm the validity of the anomaly documented at The Republic and reveal if direct observation of construction conflicts with industry timlines.

Proposal

Using digital and analogue photography to document the work performed at fixed points, at both fixed and random times, onfrom commencement of demolition to project completion.

The project will be run blind with no notice given to any companies or communication had with workers involved.

Prediction

Progress on the site up to the point of topping out will be delayed by no less than 50%.

Drilling, I-beam placement, soldier pileing, tendon/tieback work and excavation will require more than a year.

Jump-form construction will not be able to be completed at a pace of 1 floor every 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 days.

The Need For Feedback

The anomaly documented at The Republic makes pursuing the endeavor of documenting the redevelopment of the Hobby Building a worthy pursuit.

A worthy pursuit, especially one requiring an extensive amount of time, is pointless without feedback from accredited engineers.

The project can't proceed without merit.
